After enlarging the hole in these smoky quarts crystals I make a little ball at the end of a sterling silver wire, put it through the stone and wrap a little hoop.
I then bend the 2.5mm (10g) copper wire in to shape, hammer the ends and drill a whole where I hang the crystal from.
Both the silver around the stone is given a raw, antigued finish by oxidizing and brushing. Since the stones are natural they are a bit irregular in shape but they measure approx 15-20mm. The ear weight itself measures approx. 60mm x 80mm.
This listing is for a pair.
