I call the collection this ring belongs to for "javelin", I had a hard time deciding between that and "ormbunke", which is swedish for fern, because it does kinda look both like the tip of a fern and a spear. When I made it I had neither of those in my thoughts though, I was just playing around with shapes.
After I made a model I was happy about I sent it to Magnus at Uppsala fingjuter that casted copies in sterling silver and bronze for me. For the band of this ring I make a square wire from recycled sterling silver, I flatten it slightly before shaping it in to a ring. I then solder on the handcasted bronze ornament and lastly I add a little silver ball. Then it's just the whole process of giving it the right finish, it involves steel brushes, oxide and a spin in the tumbler.
I make these rings in three different sizes, but if you'd like a bigger or smaller size or a size in between let me know and I'll size it for you.
Small: Inside Diameter: 16.41mm, Inside Circumference: 51.55mm, US and Canada size 5 7/8, British and Australian size L1/2
Medium: Inside Diameter: 17.35mm, Inside Circumference: 54.51mm, US and Canada size 7, British and Australian size O
Large: Inside Diameter: 18.19mm, Inside Circumference: 57.15mm, US and Canada size 8, British and Australian size Q
I have fairly "normal" sized hands and for me the Small fits on the ring finger, the Medium on the middle finger and the Large on the index finger.
