I make these lightweight hoops from 2mm (12g) brass wire. Once I shaped them to hoops (as you can see from the pictures they're not perfect hoops but have an organic, slightly irregular shape, they will look round in your ears though) I hammer and oxidize them, then I brush some of the oxide off, giving it a raw, rustic look.
You open the hoops by twisting the ends away from each other (pic. 4). Since they're so light, the small ones weigh 3 grams and the large ones 4 grams each, they're perfect to wear several at the same time, and also to mix with the copper version! There is an option in the drop down menu to buy a small and a large pair at a discounted price, if you wish to mix the brass and the copper versions just write in the comments what combination you will like.
The inside diameter is 40mm (approx. 1.5 inches) or 50mm (aprox. 2 inches).
The listing is for one pair.
